There are 2 reasons not to do this:
1) We are there to configure the install for their particular hardware.
2) We don't have any spare boxes to put hard drives into.

They no longer have any installation stuff, and I think it is just the

With relation to burning cd's, would it be prudent/possible/intelligent
to enlighten the new users on doing net installs? A good portion of the
new users who bring their machines live on campus, meaning they have a
nice big fat pipe to the ftp mirror of distro's at
marmot.ots.utexas.edu.
