Hi All,
I am testing the waters on a new project and would really appreciate
it if anyone has a direct contact within Google Sydney HQ who deals
with earning cash from embedding Google Search Box.
I have read about Adsense for Search and Adsense for Content but I was
looking more people involved
I am terribly sorry. Please disregard this message. I posted it to the

Hola,
Awal Juli saya rencana ke Jakarta. Ada yang mau gathering ndak? Saya
pengen ketemuan ama temen2 scrummers buat sharing2 implementasi scrum

Yes, but there are several factors at play here. There are social
networks that make money, its just harder to do. You need significant
scale for a social network to make money from ODA (online display
advertising). LinkedIn and RSVP have a niche audiences and also
multiple revenue streams.

Great job Elias! We should try to catch up in SF in the next few
weeks, once you settle into your new role. In addition to my work at
VMware I am advising a venture fund and about to join the board of
another startup - VMware is extremely supportive of entrepreneurial
activities.

Interesting..
LinkedIn makes money from paying members. And Whirlpool.net.au must make a
fortune from it's 30 million post forum. There's also dating sites that
charge for membership and they don't seem to be going anywhere.. RSVP comes
to mind.

Hi Adam,
I personally don't see value in the site the way it is right now, but I
could definitely see the value in a site where one startup is shown every

opportunity to give constructive criticism on it in the form of a

My personal favourite is building a landing page that subscribes people to a
mailing list. You'll want to make the landing page look like you have a
product in private beta and that by registering they'll get an invitation
soon. Finally you buy traffic using PPC to test it.
This works well on so m

Hi,
One of the criteria for submitting application to Startmate is that it
must be a business that does not depend its revenue from advertising.

it gets its revenue from advertising. Looking at that criteria, does
that mean busi
Here are a few additional thoughts we pulled together on how and at

Hey guys,
There's probably a few of you here who are thinking about some sort of
iPhone or iPad related business - so you may be interested in a

The focus of the conference is not on code, or design, but mainly on

Hey all,
I've just started a company with one of my friends and now we are
working on getting our first customers. I read a lot of articles
about the topic and it seems everyone faces the same challenges. So I
was thinking of creating a place where startups could post their
