Interesting feedback guys. While reading this thread, I just read in a SMH
article that Apple's shares fell 8% - allegedly due to the maps app
and under supply of iPhone 5.

Apple's mantra has always been about the customer experience, but they have
broken that customer contract with this maps release.
I see this as a sign that Apple have hit their peak and will begin to fall
from their current dizzy heights.

Perhaps apple should have released it separately as an MVP and not part of
ios6. The customer experience of ios6 is tarnished for one app.

My lesson would be that the concept of MVP (while great) is only really
useful in fairly new uncontested market space. when someone (google)
already has a "killer app" you vant go the MVP route.
