CSPolarity changing

What would be an approximate safe range of times for polarity switching to avoid electrode cleaning? I have a timer giving 3 minutes per polarity, but my electrodes still seem to build up. I would assume the switching would need to be faster as the amp density goes up? Thanks, Jim -- The

Jim; I have investigated switching times of 10, 20, 40, 60, and 90 seconds. As the switch time decreases the brew time increases. My compromise was one minute switching. There will aways be a gray deposite on both electrodes but you will not get treeing as with no polatiry change. Also the longer
