Try adding an equal amount of CS to the H2O2. That should dilute it 50% so it would be 1.5% H2O2. That should be tolerable. Or even dilute it a bit more to start with. If your gums are in bad shape there will probably be a bit of feeling for a few days, but they should get better quickly.
