I take a gallon of CS (EIS) and put half in the blackwater tank of my RV, a quart in the greywater tank, and the rest in the freshwater tank. No odor from the toilet. Saves money on the stuff they sell for that, and works just as well. Conclusion. Yes it would affect the septic tank... On Tu

I use CS in holding tank of my boat, tank is only 13 gallons. I usually go all Summer on 1 tank, I put CS in when ever I flush. In fall I pump out before putting boat away, no smell with the CS. If you were dumping tank in a septic system it would probably kill the whole system. Bob -Original
