Greetings, How would you like to make silver solution at the rate of one gallon of 12 PPM in 5 to 6 minutes depending of the initial conductance. The pH is greater that 8. My new flow thru system using a microwave power supply and my two gallon fish tank makes 2 gallon in 10 to 12 minutes.

Hi There Bob - this sounds very interesting - how do you get the start up pH reading as high as 8 - I have a 10 gallon tank, as well as some 1 gallon tanks. What creates the speed, the power of the microwave powersupply or the pH. Regards Sandee "The one who accomplished it is the one who failed t

temperature and room temperature is about 68 F. After the last 12 minute brew the two gallons were at 92 F. That's a lot of BTU's to get there. "Ole Bob" Nenah Sylver wrote: - Original Message - From: Robert Berger To: silver-list Sent: Thursday, October 20, 2005

Hi Sandee, The initial conductance of the last batch (today) of Wal-Mart DW was 0.60 uS/cm which is very low. The initial input voltage is about 2500 volts but it drops as the load increases. At the end (12 minutes) the voltage was about 100 volts (this becomes a measuring problem in itself

Hi Bob, could you please tell us more about using/converting a microwave for this purpose? I seem to remember, some time ago, discussion on using an old microwave for making CS and as I now need to make larger quantities I think this may be the way to go. Cheers, Roger On 21/10/2005, at 6:08

Roger, Duncan came up with the original micowave conversion. It's what I use now. Here's his original write-up: http://zeek.ca/4u/article.php?op=Print&sid=111 Chuck If you choke a smurf, what color does it turn? On 10/20/2005 4:55:06 PM, Roger Bark

Roger you should have received an email from someone else that had Duncan Crowe's article on conversion. If not go to http://zeek.ca/4u/article/php?op=Print&sid=111 Print it out. I will try to get a photo of my cell and send it to you later. "Ole Bob"
