I don't drink coffee, either. I have found a substitute called Postem, on
most regular grocery store shelves, to be a fine alternative. It is only
roasted grains, molasses, maltodextrin from corn.
I am so proud, I used to be the type to put four tsps of sugar in a cup of
tea, and now
I quit drinking coffee, and my hot flashes went away. I was drinking 2 or 3
cups of decaf a day, on average. After quitting it completely, the hot
flashes were almost completely gone. One a day now, where before there were
as many as a dozen. It's worth a try. I substituted green tea for its
