Even distilled water can make the eye uncomfortable. If you mix just
enough salt in it to make it a saline solution, it will be less of a
problem. However all the ionic portion over about .8 or so ppm will
settle

I have a SilverGen and I've always made batches wit
I don't see any problem spraying or dropping CS into the eyes
regularly. There may be an issue if it is mixed with DMSO, but I
don't know.
Many of us have used it by spraying in the eye, and no problem has
ever been noted.
But, I would agree, do it orally as well.
