List, thanks so very much for your input. We will use the 50% solution as suggested. This had, of course, occurred to us, i.e., to use a weaker solution, but we didn't know just where to start and now we have a good idea. We will see if it works as well as the stronger stuff. Thanks

List, my husband has been using a 70% dilution of DMSO for arthritis and has been having good results. But his skin is beginning to flake heavily. Anyone know if this means he needs to dilute the DMSO more or if this will defeat the purpose? Or maybe the solution is causing microbes in

Probably a result of too much, too often. It can irritate some. If he can, lay off for awhile (maybe a week) and restart at a lower concentration. Dilute for still effectiveness. Or try every other day, etc. Betcha Brooks has more info... Chuck If
