I don't know exactly what you mean by deep cleaning, but my husband turned up with very deep pockets and was supposed to go in every 3 months for cleaning, and was told he might need root planing. I got him started with a Viajet, using CS/water in it daily. His pockets were so much improved

Kathy, my daughter had *terrible* gum abscesses and everytime they were cured with just holding CS in the mouth for as long as could be stood and then spitting out (and sometimes swallowing) Within a half an hour - usually - the abscess would burst, but always, after the initial pain of putting
