All of the larger inverter systems have these, and even most of the
small ones.
Usually they are very fast and work at 10.5 volts. ( if a 12 Volt System )

The last 4 batteries I fried were 12 V, in series for my well pumps. They
had no LV cutoff, and ran a
sealed gel batteries. I don't know how to get the
EDTA into the gel. I think that procedure is for sulfated batteries
anyway...?

lead/acid batteries can be rejuvenated with EDTA. Yes, the same
chemical that is used for chelation of heavy metals in people.
