kefir grains on a regular basis. The list owner Dominic regularly sends
out babies to those who request, from Australia. I live in Seattle
have a set of his, but I also have a set from another donor which is
slightly different

If one is lactose intolerant, one may find that kefir is quite tolerable
as the bio organisms in the product consume the majority (if not all) of
the lactose in the milk, leaving (at times) a definite separation of
curd whey. Usually, though, milk kefir is creamy thick, reminiscent
of buttermilk
