I couldn't figure out why I was consuming so many hops. I will try and name

And if I change my "user id" to the DID rather than just have it as an alias
maybe I can cut down the number of hops enough to make it work.

Have an unusual situation.
I have a paging group setup for several IP Phones. So far so good.
I also have an overhead paging system. After fighting with poor sound quality
with a cyberdata paging gateway, I've switched over to just connecting an
audiocodes FXO port to the paging DFT device

Matt - I am experiencing a potentially similar problem - however my fallback
destination does work if there are 3 or less extens

This may not be directly related to your problem, but there is an issue
I encountered while trying to change the RTP port range:

But I will try the port forwarding

I'm already following the documentation.
But as I answer the question from Tony, right now I used static NAT and open
all the port.
I will give it a try to do the port forwarding
Thanks Robert

Well, that places your sipx server essentially "in the wild", and is not
something I would dare to do.
I would look at forwarding just the ports you need.
Follow Robert's advise on the remote workers cheat sheet, it will make a
difference.

Yes, I used static public IP address
No, I don't use sip trunking (for current time, maybe in the future)
I'm using Cisco router to do the NAT
I set up static one on one NAT for SIPX server with no access-list apply
I believe that's enough, right?

You cannot just open all outbound ports and make this work.
You need ports 5060 nad 3-31000 on your WAN port forwarded to your private
ip address of your sipx system.
You might need others too depending on whether or not you are using sip
trunking.
Do you have a static public IP address?
D
Right now, I'm still open all UDP & TCP port for the SIPX server.
I used static ip address for the SIPX server NAT

Hi All,
I just found out that, after I put back the NAT port to default
configuration (3-31000), the remote worker support can't run anymore.
Internal user able to called remote user and vice versa. When the call
established remote user can hear the voice from internal user but internal
