Hi Everyone,
I followed the instruction above in installing sipXecs 4.2 on a 64bit CentOS

I have the error initiating the command:
*# yum install e2fsprogs grub kernel ntp dhcp bind caching-nameserver gdb
strace yum-basearchonly yum-downloadonly java-1.6.0-sun java-1.6.0-sun-fonts
sipxecs
What is the output from cat /etc/yum.repos.d/*

Perhaps I could try regenerating all certificates? I'm not
sure how to do this in a cluster environment. Could someone

Do you think I should try backreving stunnel?

I just noticed that my MWI indicator is not working - I re-installed 4.2 from
.iso and imported users/phones. I also restored the message mailboxes from a
backup. This originally caused permission errors (couldn't delete/add/change

Yes. Disable voicemail permissions for ONE user that MWI does not work,
apply and wait for job to replicate. After it is finished replicating,
re-enable it. If this is successful, simply apply it to a user group level
to take the pain out.
As I recall there is a difference in the format of a

stunnel backrevved to 4.26-1 (version included with sipX 4.2) and tunnel
seems to be up (no dead services so far). I'll keep an eye on it to make
sure that was the issue.

Have you restarted MWI on the server since the import? Pushed the profile to
the phone and restarted the phone?
I'm sure you did, but asking...

Hi all,
I found that sipxconfig shows unnecessary vertical rulers in
diagnostics-regstrations page.
See ftp://sipx:s...@ftp.nstel.ru/surplus-vertical-ruler.JPG
And moreover i would say that horizontal ruler also should not be there. Imho,
it would be better to show Contact field in two strings

I figured out the problem is the From and To fields of the SIP REGISTER :

It appears that the presence function in the IM portion does not
recognize line status for users on X-lite 3 or 4 and any Cisco phone. Is
there something specific that is missing or can be configured on these
phones to point to? I assumed it was a backend function between openfire
and sipx
Openfire relies on the resource list server built into sipX, which
relies on the phones to provide reliable presence information. Neither
the Cisco or the Xlite phones provide this information. The same goes
for Grandstream.

I have found, Tony, that you can in fact scroll the number using the
left and right arrow keys on the 330 while the phone is ringing or while
you're on a call.

I had an old plantronics amp very similar to that,
