Are they only fast when playing from a phone? If so what kind of phone and

Michael, I tried and made sure that all my audio files are 8khz/16 bit/mono. As
a matter of fact, I converted all the files again from my original backup and
uploaded them. The problem is still there. Could you please advise what I

Hi All,
This is the process which I use to change an IP of a sipx box.
How to change IP address for the SipXecs Server
1.1 Edit the file /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 (assuming eth0
is your Ethernet card) - ensure GATEWAY var is set
1.2 Check Default Gateway. route -n

I don't follow the terminology you are using.
Public address is used in two places. Once by sipxbridge and once by media
relay (for remote users).
When used by sipxbridge it is used for setting up calls to the ITSP so the
ITSP knows it is coming from the "internet facing address" of sipx. This

When installing a 'testing' server, as fixes come out, can one continue to
update it all the way to a production server?
In other words, is it safe to take these builds test it while using it mainly
as dev of course, but keep updating it until it's stable or is

I did all of the above
I have a question concerning the installation of a cisco UBE. This SBC is
required for an installation.
Typically Music on hold scenarios are handled via the sipx-bridge. I see that
the polycom phones use an sdp event to trigger the invite to the url
