Having trouble registering to the pbx with Bria iPhone. Error message
indicates on iPhone: Registration Error [unauthorized [401]]
Here's what I did:
1]create new user on the pbx w/extension and name =300
2]created new bria phone on pbx and assigned that phone to the user [300]
3]setup on Bria i
Hi,
When I have used the value zero all users where registered on the same server.
When I have used a value different of zero in this case all users were load
balanced correclty, and I don't have issue since severeal days.
So a value of zero doesn't work correclty with Bria.

that is really a carrier issue.
what you should do is use a separate carrier and a dial plan entry that
matches your forwarded call to use that carrier.
I.e. 55+10 digits goto carrier x y z as a dial plan rule and your forward
entry on your account 55+10 digits.
if the carrier was worth there sa

Yep, seems like it, probably any value other then 0 would do, have you
tested this Cyril?
Could be nice info for the

BTW: Brian is "the" Bria user!

If you're ISP is the same as your ITSP, they will usually handle the
prioritization of the packets as they don't leave their network.
QoS does not follow the packet once it gets to the ISP. Unless you have a
contract with them that states otherwise, ISP's are best effort services.
That was one
So Brian doesn't like a weight of 0... interesting.

The best you can do is prioritize traffic in and out of your firewall...
Next best is a private line / mpls connection directly to your itsp where
they would honor dscp settings.

Hi Guys,
To resolve this problem I have changed DNS configuration from:
_sip._tcp.webcti.local. 1800IN SRV 1 0 5060
ps0sipx01.webcti.local.
_sip._tcp.webcti.local. 1800IN SRV 1 0 5060
ps0sipx02.webcti.local.
_sip._tcp.webcti.local. 1800IN SRV 1 0 5060
ps0sip
When you are connecting to an ITSP over a different providers Internet
connection, how do you guys handle the QOS and such? I know how to handle it
within my network, but there are still a few unknowns to me. In the Verizon
MPLS world, we pay for a certain amount of Gold CAR and make sure it is
What version of sipx?

It means vitelity does not support a hairpinned call. you should
consider a different itsp for forwarded calls.
