Many of the large ISPs used to run hacked resolvers that ignored low TTLs. Not
sure if this is still the case, but it was maddening when trying to manage
moves a few years back.
It really is nicer to leave them at something more reasonable most of the time.

I think it depends on what your aim is. Know that 4.5 is a dev release and
will not run as built except on centos6.x or later, while 4.4 is a stable
mature release and has an ISO using centos 5.
If you are trying to get familiar with sipx without spending much time, try
the 4.4 release and especia
I don't think he said there was no solution... you just said you were a
noob and he was pointing out (as many noobs might not know) that 4.5.2 was
a dev version.
Looks like you tried to install this once already and you are trying to
install again.
I'd do as Kumaran suggested... sipxecs-setup -
I know that it's a dev release (I've followed wiki to install it).
Anyway I think it's useful, for developers also, to face installation problems,
in order to create a more stable version.
If you think there's no solution, I can try to downgrade to 4.4

Hi Chris,
Since you are a newbie I just want to remind you that (0.)4.5 is a
development release.
All odd releases are dev, all even ones are prod, so if you want to build
a stable system install 4.4 or wait for 4.6.

I haven't installed 4.5 for a few weeks, but when I did I was root. Are you
logged in as root?

Hi guys,
I'm a newbie on sipXecs and I'm trying to install it on a remote server (CentOS
release 6.2 Final).
Everything goes smoothly but when I run "sipxecs setup" I receive the following
error:
#sipxecs-setup --verbose
/usr/sbin/cf-key
A key file already exists at /var/cfengine/ppkeys/loca
