Ranga,
Is the newest jsip version included in sipx 4.6?
We are unsure if we can upgrade jsip without doing a full inhouse test
first. That will take a little time.
Do you have any suggestions what we can do or how we can troubleshoot this
more before we update jsip? I dont want to tell customer

Hi All
I posted a message regarding MWI for 4.6 and Aastra
handsets.
However, I have installed 4.4 and I have the same problem.
My Polycom phones have MWI, but my Aastra phones do not.
I am getting a 401 unauthorised from the MWI server.
The phones are registered and can call OK. When they

Will 4.4.0 upgrade to 4.6.0 when 4.6.0 is stable ready?
In other words, I need to build a system so would probably want to use 4.4.0
right.

there is an upgrade path now, or planned, other than configuration's being

4.6.0 as stated a few times before will be a re-install and a restore of
4.4 data / vm.
Yes, if this isn't your own internal system you might want to use 4.4.0 for
a production customer install.

Thanks Todd and Mike.
You’re right, that was mentioned before but my notes didn’t make any sense .
I’ll update that now and will install a 4.4.0 for now.
Also, it’s great to know that 4.6.0 will allow a restore of the old system.
That’s such a great advancement for sipx.

Sounds like 4.6.0 is solid enough to install an instance and start putting it
through some testing.
I’ll try to get a system up and see how things go.
Is the wiki down?
Can’t seem to get a response.

Michael that is not very helpful.
Aastra are going to say contact your software developer.
I have used Aastra handsets on Asterisk open source as well
as Zultys and Epygi commercial PBXs with perfect results.
The problem is not with Aastra.

If Polycom, Snom, and others work with MWI then if Aastra is following RFC

The only way you would know is to get a trace of both a Polycom and an
