I think anyone responding would need to know who/what is providing
DHCP... SipX box or something else? I wouldn't think a hub vs a switch
would make in difference regarding what you're seeing. Any chance you
accidentally have two DHCP servers running?

I "second" the vote for remote worker TLS. Snom phones also support
TLS.

Hi Dennis,
great news! Do you know if this issue is planned to be fixed in a 7.3.x

Thanks
Alberto

If this feature is not available does anyone have any ideas of how to

Daniel,
Funny you asked... I was just playing with that myself. I think it
might be dependent on your phone. I'm using a Snom 320 and I went to
"Function Keys" under my phone in SipXConfig. I configured one of my
lighted buttons as the following...

Jeff,
Just making sure I understand the root problem... are the settings in
SipX making their way to the phone or is the phone fully configured and
just not registering? You can use the phones web interface to see if
settings are making it to the phone.
The very first time you configure your Sn

Sorry, please ignore me. I generated profiles and that did it. I
didn't remember doing that in 4.0.1.

I just installed 4.0.2 from ISO (and have rebooted) and I noticed that
all services except Config are disabled. I sucessfully installed and
used 4.0.1 and I don't remember having to enable services. How to I
enable all the services and why are they initially disabled?
My setup is a little diffe

Over the past few weeks I've been considering SipX as a replacement for
our existing phone system. My greatest interest is in the remote worker
configuration to help support "virtual office" functionality. I don't
really have any questions, but thought I'd share my experience in case
it's helpful
I configured it in SipXecs by sending the profile. I only used the
phones interface to confim that the new data loaded correctly.

I have a Snom 320 and just configured function key P1 as you described
below (12 digits total). After the phone rebooted I checked the phones
web interface and the speed dial was there as expected. I don't that
