Hi just wondering how long it should take to dial a number and be
connected to ringing going through a MP114 FXO, right now from the time
I dial the number and push dial it takes about 6-7 seconds. Is that
normal?
Thanks

lines. I had it all working fine and then the power went out, and now
the 2 lines won't register back to the sipx box. Any ideas?

shouldn't make a difference right? I have all the necessary ports open,
created a new user, and programmed the public IP address of the server

Sorry should've been more specific. We have setup for public IP which
requires no password. The only thing I'm unsure of is about the ITSP
settings in sipx, and yep I'm using the les.net template in sipx but I'm
still getting that error.
Thanks for any help J

Has anyone else successfully configured a sip trunk using Les.net? Still
getting a "peer not configured correctly" message when trying to dial
out.
If I could see a sample template I'd greatly appreciate it

Hi I was wondering if anyone has setup a sip trunk with les.net
(did.voip.les.net) if I could get a template of the sip information to
see what I'm missing. Right now we can receive incoming calls but get a
404 when trying to dial out.
Any help would be appreciated J
Thanks
About how many conference bridges can we have using sipx?

Hello Scott
Just to clarify- we have a customer that requires two separate telephone
numbers for two businesses 416-123-4567 and 905-456- ( example only
). We are
under a different domain (ITSP) they both work as they
should. There is a ticket being generated from Nortel to the design
team to fix this issue J
Thanks

We are having the same issue. We are a Nortel distributor and we have
been fighting with Nortel support to get this issue resolved and we
still have had no luck. In turn we will be going back to asterisk.

s thus the call should be sent via the SIP Trunk) but the number
automatically gets passed to the fxo because of the 9 prefix. Should
there not be a check for example "if number dialed = 10 digits and
prefix = null select dial plan with prefix = null"?

Im running 4.0.3. When I add the first sip trunk no problems everything
comes up fine, rings in and out, as soon as I add a second sip trunk the
first one goes to fast busy as well as the newly created one. Maybe I'm
not giving the system enough time to re register everything? Any ideas?
I went into the sipx gui system à servers and changed the IP address there as
well. Rebooted the box, and now I cannot access the gui anymore but I can ping
itany ideas?
System is on 4.0.2

Ok so some good news, incoming calls via the sip trunk work, but we
still can't make outgoing calls, just a busy tone is made after trying
to dial the number.
Thanks for all the feedback J
