short answer... not officially released long answer... 4.6 is not officially released even though i believe it to be more stable than 4.4. Users that have run into issues with 4.6 may disagree, because some are finding some issues due to the sheer amount of changes that went into 4.6

All, I tried searching before asking, however, I could find the answer. Is there a planned live date for 4.6 going stable? The last thing I found in the archives was someone saying real soon a few months back. The iso library still shows that 4.4 is stable and 4.6 is beta. Is that accurate? --
