Subject: Re: [sipx-users] Support call transfers locally
IF YOU DO NOT select sipxbridge-1 as the sbc route when setting up the gateway,
this will happen
I see from the Wiki that sipxecs (sipXbridge specifically) Supports call
transfers locally: Call transfers are supported without sending the REFER to
the ITSP.
I can't seem to find where I would set that up...can someone help me out?
Thanks,
Paul
http://wiki.sipfoundry.org/display/sipXecs/SIP+Trunking
http://wiki.sipfoundry.org/display/sipXecs/SIP+TrunkingThere are no
options to sipxbridge to do this. sipXbridge instead does a REINVITE to
the ITSP, and the REFER is held locally.
If you properly setup your siptrunk to use sipxbridge, it
Sipxbridge by its nature will not send the refer but a reinvite and handle
the refer internally.
So if you setup sipxbridge to handle your ITSP trunk it will by default perform
this function for you.

So if you setup sipxbridge to handle your ITSP
If your ITSP is sending the call to Port 5060 and NOT to the correct port 5080,
the call will be answered by the proxy but the call transfers will operate like
a normal phone transfer with refers.
