The development version of SystemImager does use 2.6
kernel, I am trying to get that going as well.
I might be able to do something 'creative' with the
autoinstall script to get around the hda/sda issue.

I am using the latest libata
patch for 2.4.25. If it picks it up as /dev/hda instead of /dev/sda then
there is nothing we can do. Unless you are a kernel hacker, of
course. The only real solution is to nudge the SI guys
