Anyone has experience to install IBM x346 using Systemimager ?
It should be Broadcom 5721 nic and IBM serveraid 7k scsi adapter.

Yes, use my kernel/ISO @ http://world.anarchy.com/~peter/systemimager. I
believe this version supports serverraid, and definitely has the updated
network driver.

Yup, it should be as simple as modifying patches/linux.i386.config to
include the drivers and re-compiling. I am not positive whether the
libata patches are still required for 2.6 kernel (though they are still
available).
