When this topic has been brought up on the OpenSim mailing list/IRC, the
basic gist of the replies was "looks useful, but has licensing issues".
Don't know if the same licensing issues apply to LL's usage as OpenSim

Wouldn't it be possible to implement libpurple, a lib for
instant-messenger clients, into the SL im system to allow for ingame IMing?
It would make it more convenient than constantly switching out whenever
you're messaged.

Are the 64-bit Linux users all using http-texture? To date, I've been

everyone's on board with the http-texture (and future similar)
branches, we should make that the home for these.

Hey everyone,
As i would very much like to see all build busting, including 64 bit
busting, patched out of http-texture, looking for the nod to commit the
one liner as commented by soft, in VWR-12479, to http-texture. Or else
can some one merge across from the internal branch with it fixed.
