If you're delivering to maildir, you don't need to lock; plus you should
remove all human mess from your rule in case things like this happen. Thus:
:0
* ^List-Id: .*slug.slug.org.au
$MAILDIR/slug/
Presto. Robust.

Hey all.
I'm trying to compile 2.4.18, and am having troubles with lilo (I have v24
installed). I am compiling everything I can as modules, and don't have any
fancy options turned on. I am going the make bzImage route.
Anyway, lilo gives me an error message "Kernel too big".

My wife has a PC, which she mostly uses under Windows. However it is
also multiboot RH 6.2 (and Lycoris, but that's irrelevant). My
system is running RH 7.2 and has the printer attached. It's
accessed via Samba for her Windows system, and that works fine.
I just straightened out some long-sta
Hi all,
Given that the last couple of weeks have probably been the mailing list's
messiest on record [1], I thought it might be wise to update the FAQ and be
a bit noisier about it. Ignore the SSI errors at the top and bottom, once
it's on the main site they'll work. :-)

Given that this is not Linux-specific, you may find better answers on our
slug-chat mailing list.

Stable enough for a single 160gb filesystem.
Also benchmarks much faster than ext3 as well. At the moment I am trying

Hi
I was stupid in running the command, I had used the dd command before to create
bootsector to start with NT/2000 dual boot.
I should have known better to read the man page before.

I think if the user read the entire email they would realise it was a
joke. In addition to that as previously stated if you dont know what a
command does you shouldn't do it, you should read the man file or seek
more info before doing it. Failure to do so means their only victims of
their own fool
I think it's bloody mean and stupid.

My apologies for all this mess; next time I'll try to make the

First your ISDN connection is that going to be closed from internet
traffic? or is it open to all traffic?
The thing is you would have a security problem with the latter.
Then I would suggest that you use IPSec between the 2 sites.
Ideally IPSec would be a good solution between the 2 sites reguard

Hi everyone.
Well I finally got 4 x 80gb hdd's to use with a 3ware 6400 controller
which I have had for months. Now I am going to have ~160gb in a system.
Any idea's on partitioning schemes/filesystems.
So far I am only speed testing it to try and find the right stripe size
for raid0+1. Raid 5
