I don't know how much spam is getting caught on my local filter (I use
gmail), but I find one type of spam is consistently getting through, and
that's the spam that has usually a single random word as the subject, an
image containing the spam, followed by several lines of random words, and

I don't think so, when they could just be subscribed to,
say the spamassassin mailing list.

Thanks, Del.
Do you find it's easy for non-technical people to use and setup?
Yes, once it's installed.

Is there a way of creating partitions using fdisk, and not having to
reboot before creating filesystems on the new partitions? ie getting the
kernel to be aware of the new partions.
(Apart from using LVM :-) )

Hi,
A few of the smart cookies at ERTOS/UNSW have designed a great little
add-on board for the Linksys NSLU2 (also known as a Slug --
http://www.nslu2-linux.org/).
It gives you a serial port, a remote reset and allows the device to be
powered over USB -- and it all fits inside the standard case!

Hi all
I'm having trouble getting my laptop to resume after suspend. It's a Dell
Latitude 620 with Intel 945 chipset. I have come across info on how to get
suspend
to work on this specific model (Ubuntu forum stuff) and its supposed to work
'out-of-the-box' with just minor tweaks to acpi-support
Hi all,
I'm trying to enable the XTestExtension to the standard Xorg
server in Ubuntu Dapper. It currently isn't enabled because
when I run the xdpyinfo command, in the extentions section I
get:
number of extensions:32
ATIFGLEXTENSION
ATIFGLRXDRI
XTEST
