This is just a message to try and get in contact with someone who posted a
message on the list back in 2005. I was just random googling and came across
a message from someone who was looking at setting up a LUG out here in Dubbo.
I have been thinking along similar lines of late.
I've left the broken Ubuntu system sitting there on /dev/md1 and
installed 6.10 on /dev/md0. Main problem with that (I very nearly gave
up) was that the Ubuntu installer assumes that it's going to be booting
from (hd0,0), despite the fact that you tell it where root is (in my
case (hd0,5) since

connect. There are two different machines that I am trying to connect
to, one Ubuntu and one is an Apple iBook running Xubuntu.

detected and used immediately but make sure that you download envy as
a deb/rpm first and run it from the command line - without X running -
on your first reboot after installing the card and making sure your
internet
