Hi Sluggers, I've just been using firefox to browse this site: http://www.spacedaily.com/ but my browser locks up / freezes and I have to kill it. The last message in the status bar is "Waiting for www.bing.com". (I suspect the page is doing a javascript ajax request). I edited my /etc

Hi all, I'm running a virtual machine on vmware esx. vm = Centos 5.x (redhat) I'm running ext2 with no LVM. After removing some vmware "snapshots" the system rebooted into a readonly file system. Another reboot and errors and kernel panic etc. I've rebooted with linux rescue via the cdrom

To me the issue goes somewhat deeper: from my limited perspective as a hardware novice, I just can't see why different drivers are even necessary. As far as I can tell one wi-fi card does exactly the same things as any other wi-fi card: is is too much to ask that the hardware should be construc
