No luck is on my side. I cannot find a wgetrc or .wgetrc anywhere. Anyway
I tried passive switch and he it is:

check that your running ftp through your http proxy
also check that your proxy allows you to get to ftp stuff
maybe you need to set passive ftp *shrug*

a Sun Sparc Solaris version 8. I am getting problems connecting to
