I was trying to list a couple of things on eBay
today (10Mbs 12-port-hub and two wardrobes) and
haven't done this before.
I tried for ages to work out how to upload photos
until I realised that the site believes that I
don't have Java installed. It appears you need
Java to allow

I think you might have JavaScript and Java mixed up - these are
totally different animals (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Javascript
for how this naming anomaly came about)
http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/pictures.html seems indicate
Javascript must be enabled. You may need to check

I'm unsure as to why I need to install Java again
when I've already got it installed... is JRE
different to the Java package I already have
installed (which seem to work with everything else)?

Is it the java-plugin you have ?
