One way to tell if you are in net install is wether
Okay... From what I can see, the behaviour is actually the same whether I
use "-net" _or_ "/net"?! If I run "setup" by itself I get different
behaviour - a message "this is already installed". -net seems to work for
me at any rate, and I presume from this (regardless of what used to be the
case)

Neat idea but unfortunately it didn't return either, they
must have coded the parser to read a character at a time.

lol... What you read above is the Unix version of, "Please don't make me
read the documentation, Mummy! Please!"
(The Free Software version is, of course, "Run $EDITOR on the source. See
which one you find"!)

Run 'strings' on the install. See which one you find?

-net :-)
No real obvious notification that you're doing a network install, but it
works :-)

Sluggers,
Can any of the SO people our there tell me if the switch for the
network installation of SO is "-net" or "/net". The documentation says
/net but I seem to recall that the last time I did this I got it wrong
and I had to un-install the whole damn thing and do it with the other
option.
