HI,
Sorry for the late reply. I have not yet fixed this issue. I did even
update a couple of minor versions and the problem was not resolved. So just
replacing AllowAccounts with AllowGroups worked for you ?
Thanks,
Marko

Hi All,
At one point, when we were running slurm 22, we set up a few new partitions
with `AllowAccounts` setting enabled. We limit access to these partitions
only to a few accounts. We manually create these accounts and users using
the `sacctmgr` command. At that time, everything was working.
+1 on checking the memory allocation.
Or add/check if you have any DefMemPerX set in your slurm.conf

Before you start digging deeper into this, I would recommend restarting the
`slurmctld` service. I've had similar issues where `scontrol reconfigure`
wasn't enough for certain configuration changes.

partition but interactive jobs to have shortened allowed runtime.
Thanks!
Hi All,
Currently in our environment we only have default one "free" tier of access

access. That means that the jobs from the users that "purchased" a certain
amount of service units will preempt jobs of the users in the

Question for all of you that might have done this upgrade recently, does
this happen during the major version ( 21->22 in my case ) upgrade also ?
All of the discussion I found online about it only
Hi,
I have been successfully building slurm RPMs for our environment using
rpmbuild and .rpmmacros to set up our custom sysconfdir. This has stopped
working for me with versions 21.08.7 and 21.08.8. RPMs are created but
sysconfdir is set up to default /etc/slurm one. 21.08.6 is the last version
