Phone and SMS application?

Which Phone (and/or SMS) application do you use under Debian? Until now I've used Zhone, but now that the whole phone subsystem works more reliably, Zhone has become the main source of problems. Also it has various annoying limitations. Stefan __

I have maked a little java application like zhone. It can handle calls, sms, note, suspend. It is programmed with object and interface with a clean object oriented design. It uses fso in background. But for me fso is not stable enought! Some call are missed! After an upgrade of fso tangogps will

Mhmm I was using fso on debian. Now I have installed FSO distribution and receiving call seams more better! Now I try to develop in java. I have seen cacao. There is no package with open jdk java 6 with cacao jit (like in debian)? There is a java/dbus brigde like in debian (or should I call mdbus
