Hi Sam Followed your instructions and set to QT Player> Change All. I now have the clip playing in the preview section of the file info window but I can't progress to getting the video to show in QT. If I open QT and do File>Open File> (clip).flv>Open I'm told again this is not a movie file.

I've installed Perian and now in the Finder window if I click on the .flv file it will play in the preview column but if I drag the 'flv to QT I'm told 'this is not a movie file' which also happens if I go to the action menu and click Open With>Perian - Open in QT Player. ? Thanks, Richard

first install the plugin from perian.org, then try dragging and dropping the .flv file onto quicktime player and hopefully it will then play in quicktime player. >From there if quicktime can handle the file it could then be converted to a more friendly video format like .mov if necessary Toby On
