If you get no takers and it doesn't sell on eBay, stick it in a jiffy bag,
label it Freepost, Mr Memory and shove it in the post. They recycle RAM sticks.

Dear all,
After updating to ios6, my password for iTunes seemed to default to an older
version. On visiting my account, I was informed an email would be sent to
change the password. Nothing received as yet after several attempts over a
period of 2 hours.
Any thoughts or experience?
Many thanks
I have two Mac G3s,with Systems 8.5 & 9, Viewsonic 17" and Apple 13" monitors
plus some odds and ends like Paperport scanner, Zip drive etc. Anyone want
them?
Free, but if you'd like to offer something for St Catherine's Hospice at
Crawley, that would be nice.

If not, and I don't think it can, not successfully, Markzware make a couple of
plug-ins - QX2ID and ID2QX - although they're almost as much as the price
you've found for QX8.

I'd go along with that in fact, whichever Mac you buy, you MUST see it working.
Also, take a DVD Movie along with you and if you can, get it playing for at
least 20 minutes to make sure there are no thermal/heat issues and that the
optical drive works as expected.
Once you've checked it out, d
It might also be worth checking out Gumtree so that you can actually
try the machine before you buy it.

I'm not sure – but if Grafas emails me a file I'll try and open it (I am
using a Mac with OS 10.6.8).

At the risk of starting a storm, you might consider changing to Adobe InDesign
CS6, which you can now get on monthly subscription.

I suspect the, "too good to be true" law applies here. If any offer appears to
be too good to be true, it very probably is.
There could be all sorts of reasons why Quark/Adobe are unable to shut down the

Thanks David. That's very helpful. Fore warned is fore armed.
If they are so illegal, it surprises me they are able to continue so
blatantly. Why don't Quark/Adobe clean them out. Its not as if they are
doing it in a back street - they're standing side by side in the
marketplace with them.
