Also try System Preferences > Network > Locations > New Location, that should reset all network settings and provide an easy way to get back in the event if doesn’t help, just switch back to the original location. Regards Sam

As a last resort, you could try deleting then recreating the WiFi port via System Preferences>Network. Select the WiFi port then click the - (minus) button below the list. Close System Preferences then re-open System Preferences>Network and click the + (plus) button, select WiFi from the 'Inter

This happened to me a couple of times recently. Turning wifi on and off, re-starting, opening the Network settings in Preferences etc eventually worked. It happened two or three times - out of nowhere - and then stopped. Hasn't happened since. Not much of an explanation but hopefully reassuring. R

My 2009 iMac stopped connecting to my BT Hub last night. Now when I try to connect I get the dialogue box with "requires WPA password", I enter the password that I use for other devices and it tries to connect but "times out" after a few seconds. Any suggestions please? Nigel Nigel Proctor H
