Most pink and blue (unicell or extruded) polystyrene is 2 pounds per
cubic foot. (I have heard of 1.7 but haven't seen it.)
I have scratch built several different foamie slope designs using pink foam,
and there are some definite advantages to using this material instead of epp
foam. The pink foam is cheaper by far, much more readily available in most
localities, and weighs significantly less than epp foam. Pink foam

I haven't tried the lost foam method using West Epoxy but I have found it to be a bit
rubbery until it reaches it's full hardness.
It may take a few days for it to harden.

Making an EPP racer is challenging. It's difficult to make a thin wing stiff
