Baking soda by itself works fine. For occasional reinforcement put baking soda in a place that needs filling and add a drop of CA. But don't let the end of the CA bottle touch the baking soda! jtm - Original Message - From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL

I am not Cornholio. Daryl Perkins is Cornholio. His title now reads as follows: Daryl Perkins, The Great Cornholio, Ruler of the sky and Lord of the Calimari, W.C. 3x. That boy can sure fly them toy aeroplanes... Do you realize no one has won this event more than twice. Rolf Drecker won twice,

I got a call from Hugo Zigelmyer today saying that he will be making tow hooks again. He makes a heavy duty 3/16" hardened towhook with a long and short shaft (F3B). They are threaded and use a blind nut inside the fuse with a jam nut on the outside to really lock that thing down. I have used

I use resin: 20 minute Finish Cure. It's way cheaper than an equal amount of CA. Nobody at SmAC got smacked by an elevon! My lightweight Boomerang probably hurt alot less than Tim Cone's "Das Brut". What a wicked fast wing that was! Everyone's seen the elevons I made and no one's said

Anyone know what the rules are? I could not find them on the site. The 6396 feet altitude might be a bit tough to beat. Does the pilot have to remain on the ground, or can he take a chopper or a plane up? At least we hold two of the records in the US. It appears there is no set record for

It is not just "damage producing" that will outlaw them. We will keep the costs down too. They will not be allowed, or someone else can organize these races. A line has to been drawn somewhere. Jerry R. Craft VWP Wk 858-320-4128 Cel 760-803-6955 -Original Message- From:

There was an article in R/C Soaring Digest a while back, detailing the construction of a hot box from aluminized insulation board. The board was taped together with aluminum duct tape. The box sat on the workbench over the work. It contained 25 watt electric light bulbs every two feet or so and
