Richard,
Put the CG at 40% of the root chord. The plane will be flyable at this
position although it may not be optimum. If that seems too far back then
move it up to 35%but the 40% is more likely where you'll end up. The
CG is really not horribly critical for initial flights. There is ab

Pat,
I use Duralites on my giant scale birds. They work great except for
several things: NO fast charging, you have to use their charger (12v), you
cannot pull more than 2A per cell or they die, and if you discharge them too

I have a heavy-ish 3rd hand Algebra 3.2 (ailerons & spoilers) with all-flying
tailplane which I am finding difficult to trim out.
Can anyone help me out with a recommended CG and decalage angle please? S3021 airfoil

Hi Gang,
While in one of area hobby shops over the weekend I ran across some batteries
called Duralite Lithium-Metal batteries. Have any of you guys seen and or
used these batteries and if so how well do they work. Also, I was told that
you can only charge them with the charger that Duralite
To DS, or not to DS. That is the question. 'Tis nobler to try and crunch,
than to woos on the front. (Or just fly combat.) Yea, the vision gained in
folly shall set us on the right path to DS bliss.
Veni, Vidi, Crunchi (a.k.a. - been there, done that - Vortex - soon to fly
