Well, that is title of an excellent organization, and there are lots of good
flying wings out there, but my favorite is the Boomerang and can be seen in
exquisite detail here:

If the rudder at the back moves 1" each side you should be ok. The elevator about 1/2"

starting point.

I have such a beast and can meet you at Harbor's contest.
It's my old Boomerang. It has HS-205's with red Kimborough servo savers and
embedded (concealed) Sullivan blue and gold plastic pushrods.
I'll give you the whole deal with servos and battery of your choice for $60.

well i think the wing is not an aggressive full out combat ship. it;s a
great flyin ship, there are several friends of mine that got attracted
to the wing, they are hang glider pilots, not r/c pilots, they look like
hang gliders in the air... they got boomerangs and are haveing a ball
with them..t
First, I welcome any writings from Joe Wurts, any! However, I have to point
out that the poor guy has already written a considerable amount on the topic
of Dynamic Soaring.
Then we have the John Roe video. For me at least, the video completely
explains the topic. With John describing a diagram o

If not the inventor, Joe certainly has made
DS accessable to the masses, and wrote
a brief article in s&EM magazine.
There have been several other articles
about DS in s&EM and QFI, but they aren't particularly

And just think, DS is just a tiny fringe-benefit
of HIS other inventions, like the Earth, The

I would have to politely disagree. The Boomerang is, in my opinion, not a good
choice for a beginner. It's a full on combat weapon.
In truth, all the flying wings are fairly high performance. They're not for
every beginner by any stretch of t

It took me 2 long days to really figure it out on the slope. at some
point I thought DS was a total BS and was so close to giving up. I had
instructions from magazines, advice from RCSE, watched all the DS video,
and it was still very hard to figure it out by
The Stork is a Big plane (it is pretty though). You may want to consider a composite
plane for your first. The molded planes are difficult to repair.
