Dennis - I've found that If I left the tube ends lightly rolled (just like the tube cutter leaves them) the lead stays in fine. I'd recommend against doing anything while the lead is still hot - molten lead is scary stuff. If the lead falls out just use a larger tube, pull the lead out, and
