All,
I am looking for a special plane. A drop-dead-georgeous,
all composite beauty. About 120" wingspan. What am I looking for in
good looks? Scale fuse, swept tips, and T-tail are ideas. Need
name of plane and manufacturer.
Many thanks for ideas.

My beloved Chrysalis met up with a steel pole yesterday (don't ask).
The vertical pole met the right wing a few inches out from the fuse,
and I busted several ribs to smithereens and snapped the leading edge
dowel, the spar and trailing edge are undamaged.
Repairing the wing looks like it

Greg;
Back around 1980 I spent a lot of time building a computer program that
would analyze the stresses in a model wing, and predict how the wing would
fail. At the time my wings were mostly wood with a little carbon and glass
fiber, and the program did predict some failures well. But I
My MDL wing wieghed 108gr out of the box, 113gr (3.985oz) after drilling
mounting holes. (No offense to Tom, he may have started with a heavier
wing). I figured I used about 1gr more glass than I needed. Yes, people
really over do the joining.
The Monarch wing is 410sq". Many ships today are 370

Hello Joedy,
Your Fluke can be very helpful but isn't too good for measuring battery
capacity. To do it you'll have to wire up a very basic circuit then time the
discharge while measuring voltage with your Fluke. You'd get some decent
data which would be a useful approximation.
However, it'd be
