[RCSE] Mentholated Spirit?

I'm working on fiberglassing a wing and was told to use Mentholated Spirit to thin out the epoxy by 40-50% on the final, finishing coat. I've been looking at my local hardware stores, but the closest I can find is White Spirit which looks and smells like your standard, everyday paint thinner.

I have had good luck cutting foam grooves by simply heating the last 6 or 8 inches of a piece of stiff steel wire with a propane torch and laying it almost flat on the foam and dragging it along a line. Not really precise but fine for burying antenna, wire or pushrod tubes. Practice on a piece of
