guess is 1980. Don't know when Dynaflite took it over.
Here's a good one: When did the Mark's Models Mini-Bird of Time (2m) kit first

I have not set up my Dart for DLG but I have learned a lot about it's
construction. Also, I just finished a custom (copyied from some of the greats)

Thanks for the detailed info. Especially the bit about reinforcing the
fuse. I don't much like working with kevlar, but I have a bunch of carbon
laying around so I'll use some of that.
The plane is still NIB so I'll be sure and do a decent job on joining the
wing panels.
