Charles, I understand your reasoning. However, the CASA 2M only pulled
three entries in RES. Would there have been more if allowed? I do not
know, but I am sure it is discouraging to have an event and no (few)
entries. BTW, you (CASA, Skip and Frank Thompson) put on a great contest

is another class to fly that has certain restrictions on airframe, that's
it. If ever there is an event for beginners it is usually

I hope some of the scorekeepers for the F3J events around the world can
enlighten me on the mechanism for accumulating totals for performance in F3J
contests towards year end points.
In our club we calculate normalized performance scores where the competitors

Placerville might have some slopes but I'd only expect a few. The area is
foothills which are mostly rounded and small. You'll need a local resident
R/C pilot to know for sure. I know of no real slopes.

A few days ago I receive a reply from someone out there in glider land that

The trouble is I lost the e-ma
I'm would like to build a 2 meter with 600 sq inchs in the wing.
How do I know how much stab area I need? My fuse is a designed for a
flying stab.

Are there people that fly in the area of Placerville, CA? We are trying to
decide if we should move to CA with a job opportunity and can't afford the
areas around San Francisco/San Jose. Sacramento has no slopes. (A slope head
here.) It is also flat and hot in the summer. Placerville looks nice a
