Ron, Actually the Bonanza was/is fine on stability. You can not tell the difference between the V tail and the standard tail (Debonair or later model Bonanzas). It is a "myth" that the Bonanza suffered any stability from the V tail. The early ones had other problems, mostly structural (take

Allen, Yes it has been investigated signifigantly. But not because it is a V tail! Every plane out there has quirks. Some have high stall speeds, some have wierd stalls, etc. All when flown correctly are harmless! You actually hit the nail on the head. The "low time" is the factor in
