What is intersting about the DLG planes is how
diverse they are as well, as inidicate, how region specific they
are.
I am going to Poway. I have 2 DLGs and both
can be competitive in the right hands. There are alot of other planes out
there. We might see modified Texas Twisters, we will
Hi all,
the second contest in the 2002 JR/Airsail F3B series (North
Island, New Zealand) took place on May 18 19 at a new (for
the series) venue near Havelock North. Thanks to the Hawkes
Bay Radio Fliers for hosting us, providing a great field,
great hospitality, and for turning up in numbers to
What's even worse is to watch a guy fall 70+ feet from a tree, never to see
his wife a kids again. This is all after the local firehouse was called and
on there way. So it's not just Power or sailplanes that kill, it's the lack
of brains.

Could anyone tell me where I can get a copy of the latest edition of Martin

As everyone knows by now, sh*t happens. Not being careful, taking
shortcuts, lapse of judgment, testosterone, etc, etc, or just plain fate are
just a few causes of mishaps and *accidents*. We can only do our best and
hopefully not get burned, or hit, or smashed or...(famous last words).

After all the discussion about the 2 model rule I really think that Jim Bacus should
be REQUIRED to fly 2 models at every contest he goes to. I'd further suggest that I be
the one designated to pick out which model he uses every round.
Noticed FMA has a new lightweight dual-conversion receiver, weight .3
ounce.
Has anyone seen one? Looks like the ticket for DLG.
This receiver was mentioned in R/C Microflight and MAN. There was also a
full page ad in SE Modeler. When I could find no mention of it on the FMA
web site, I

I have been out of the shop for over a week attending the midwest Slope
Challange and basically giving some different people a chance to kick my ass.
It seemed to work OK. Judging from the amount of email in the bin and phone
messages it will take me a day or so to get
There was a fullpage ad in the latest SE Modeler.

WHere is this listed? I missed it on the FMA web site, tho I noticed a
new ground bound rx which I'm guessing is a sibling of this one.

I suppose that you should ask the CSS club...

FMA is not real swift in updating their web page. I talked to them
yesterday. They indicated that this receiver is in production and they
anticipate deliveries will begin mid June. The price is $69.99 plus $12.95
for the crystal. If they make their mid June delivery date I'd be very
surprised

rattlers that don't like being messed with.
This is a very important point! Because, apparently, there is a shortage in
the supplies of anti-venom. Keep your eyes open and be safe.
I saw one at my local slope last Saturday!
