The curvature of the first 5 inches of the nose required a substantial
number of pins in both the fuselage sides and the triangle stock.
How could this be accomplished with weights and/or clamps?
Tape. Or just move the glass so it sticks an inch or so off
I like the theory behind a glass work surface: flat, smooth, etc. But I'm
having a hard time imagining how I would attempt assembly of, say, a
fuselage with triangle stock from nose to tail.
Two planes that I've built come to mind: the Sagitta and the Silhouette.
The curvature of the first 5 inch

While fishing in the north woods of Wisconsin I witnessed a bald eagle take a fish
about 50 feet from our boat. It was just about sun-up and the morning steam was
coming off the water. It was sight to behold, one I'll never forget.
Later that year I saw my first Golden Eagle. If you think t

Hi
As an interested bystander, it seems to me that to allow "updates" to RES
and NOS ruins the reason for the class. If you want an updated class, start
a new one. We have too many classes now I hear you say? Too bad, don't
mess with RES and NOS, they are fine as they are!
Just my 2 cents worth.

This morning, I was taking out the trash at around
6:45am, right before I left for work. It was a beautiful morning here in
Reno. I noticed a bird flying above, and looked up and WOW. HUGE

body, and a WHITE neck
I'm sure everyone knew what I mean, but just in case I meant acetone and not

When working with epoxies I use the blue nitrile gloves. Not cheap at $8 per

Nitrile is also my glove of choice whe

Random thoughts from someone who has handled a lot of various adhesives.
Use vinyl gloves, not latex gloves. Latex are popular because they are
common in the medical community

In a lot of building instructions I have seen they recommend putting
a light misting of spray adhesive on part, on the building glass, on
